Adam Clark  > NH's 48 4000+ ft Mountains > Carter Dome, South Carter, Middle Carter (34-36 of 48)
The 34th, 35th, and 36th mountains would be combined into one trip with the first being Carter Dome at 4,832 ft, then South Carter Mtn. at 4,430 ft, and then Middle Carter Mtn at 4,610 ft.
This hike was approximately 12.1 miles in length (including getting back to the truck) and had an overall elevation gain of 4,722 ft.
They were hiked on 6-7-12 which started off partly sunny with periods of blue sky before becoming off and on rain showers with some periods of sun. It was about 47 degrees on the summits and the wind was averaging only 4 mph. Even with the periods of rain, it was a great hike with few others out and some interesting views with all of the clouds

Trailhead on Route 16
3.8 miles to my first destination. Also a sign warning of damaged sections of trail from Tropical Storm Irene last summer
Even with a good chance of rain in the forecast, It's starting off pretty nice
Nineteen Mile Brook runs next to the trail or near it for much of its length
The early sections of trail are gentle and smooth
A little bit of trail washout at a bend in the brook
Half of this bridge is now missing after last summer's storm
Some of the missing parts can be found in this pile of debris just down stream
The rest of the brook can be crossed on some salvaged boards from the bridge
