Having only hiked the Presidentials as a complete traverse, I decided to head back to the southern end of the range for the day. I tossed in Mt. Webster since it is on the 52 with a view list and I hoped to get a nice view down into Crawford Notch. The clouds didn't clear quick enough for that, but it still turned into a great day.
The hike was 9 miles with a total elevation gain of 3,261 ft. It started off cloudy and breezy in the notch. On Mt. Jackson it started to clear and soon there wasn't a cloud around. It was in the mid 50's on the summits with about a 10mph breeze.
