The 37th through 44th mountains would be hiked all in a row during a three day traverse of the Presidential Range from north to south. The entire hike was over 3 days with a total distance of 19.789 miles and 8,908 ft of elevation gain. The peaks were hiked from June 17 thru June 19, 2012. The weather was great the entire hike with plenty of sun. The last day got a bit hazy and was pretty hot for the Presidential Range.
Day one included Mt. Madison at 5,367 ft. Distance for this day was 3.996 miles with 4,055 ft of total elevation gain.
Day two included Mt. Adams at 5,774 ft, Mt. Jefferson at 5,712 ft, and Mt. Washington at 6,288 ft. Distance for this day was 7.011 miles with 3,396 ft of total elevation gain.
Day three included Mt. Monroe at 5,384 ft, Mt. Eisenhower at 4,780 ft, Mt Pierce at 4,310 ft, and Mt. Jackson at 4,052 ft. Distance for this day was 8.782 miles with 1,457 ft of total elevation gain plus a lot more elevation loss coming down from the peaks.
